Road to Giving: Supporting Veterans Community Project of Kansas City
At Lee’s Summit Honda, giving back to our community is core to who we are. This fourth quarter, running from October 1st through December 31st, our Road to Giving campaign proudly supports Veterans Community Project (VCP).
Founded right here in Kansas City by combat Veterans, VCP is dedicated to ending Veteran homelessness by providing transitional housing in specialized tiny home villages and offering 360-degree wraparound support services.
Why Supporting Our Veterans Matters
Transitioning back to civilian life can present immense challenges. Veterans Community Project addresses these hurdles head-on with a dignified, community-driven approach. Their local KC village consists of 49 fully furnished tiny homes paired with individualized case management to help Veterans stabilize, regain independence, and successfully secure permanent housing.
Our team is honored to stand behind a mission that directly serves those who served our country. Every contribution raised during Quarter 4 stays right here in the Metro area, directly benefiting local Veterans in need.
Support Via Wish List Items
Throughout this event, you can also support VCP directly by dropping off essential items from their wish list at our dealership by December 31, 2026. Prefer to ship directly? You can also browse and order needed supplies through their Amazon Wish List to have items delivered straight to the village.
How You Can Make an Impact (Oct 1 – Dec 31)
